Sustainable exploitation of the endemic Malagasy wild pepper Tsiperifery (Piper borbonense): identification of the associated species of in Anjozorobe in order to infer the pedoclimatic characteristics required for the domestication.

The dissertation will focus on the identification of the associated species of tsiperifery. The characteristics of these species will be then used to infer some information about the pedo-climatic necessities of this Malagasy wild pepper. This will give a preliminary idea about the condition suitable for the domestication of the specie before of a further analysis.

The inventory will be done in the area of Anjozorobe in the locality of Anorana, in the Ranomafana National Park, where the presence of tsiperifery have been assessed by previous surveys.
